best beaches in West Crete. By the village there are two sandy blue-flag
beaches, with crystal-clear waters, which are perfect for families with
children and swimmers who are not experienced, as both beaches are shallow and
their sandy bottom slopes gradually.

opportunities for water sports, and plenty of mini markets, stores, cafés, and
bars near the beach.
